Mauricio Gomes Legacy
We are a Mauricio Gomes Legacy Affiliate.
For those that don’t know, Master Mauricio Gomes is a BJJ legend. Often called the Godfather of BJJ here in the UK, he started training with the legendary Rolls Gracie in 1977, and became one of only six people to be promoted to black belt by him in 1981.
Along with Masters Marcio Stambowsky, Romero ‘Jacare’ Cavalcanti and Sergio Penha, Mauricio was promoted to 8th degree red and white (coral) belt in 2017. This momentous achievement represents 38 years as a black belt and over 50 years training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
He also happens to be the father and coach of one of the greatest BJJ athletes of all time, Roger Gracie. -

Adam is a level 4 qualified sports massage therapist, qualified personal trainer and student Osteopath at London South Bank University. His goal and focus is on improved performance through recovery and injury rehabilitation…and he’s our go to when we need putting back together!

YOGA FOR BJJ
Yoga for BJJ is different from Yoga
You do normal Yoga if your goal is to get good at yoga. Yoga for BJJis to better your BJJ and other martial arts. Poses are selected and tweaked to directly link to BJJ positions/techiniques. Transitions are tailored to mimic moves everyone needs in BJJ: Backstep, lasso, core drills etc
Developed by BJJ black belts that walk the talk, and use yoga to stay healthy and win competitions. It's perfect for anyone who wants to improve themselves and their longevity in the sport and prevent future injuries caused by jiu jitsu and exercise in general. With regular training you’ll notice improvements in mobility, strength, cardio and flexibility.

REORG
REORG is a charity who's mission is to support the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of military and emergency services personnel, using Functional Fitness or Jiu Jitsu as a gateway to reignite their confidence and purpose.
As a REORG approved training facility we provide unlimited access for members to a safe and supportive training environment to combine BJJ with community to learn new skills and reinvigorate a sense of camaraderie.
